HOW TO RENT
-
Make sure you understand
the general rules and conditions before you book a rental.

In
order to receive information and pricing of your motorcycle rental
please
send
us an inquiry with your preferred
destination, the bike you would like to rent and date
of your travel. Please indicate the exact pick-up
and drop-off time for the vehicle.
Any inquiry will receive a reply from AdMo-Tours.com within 48 business
hours.

Once
you are certain about the destination, bike and rental duration send
us the booking form.

The
booking becomes valid with an email or fax confirmation from AdMo-Tours.
You are authorizing AdMo-Tours
to retrieve up to 30% of the total cost as a deposit. All deposit have to
be paid by credit card.

The
booking can only be considered as confirmed after AdMo-Tours has
send you the invoice via email, fax or regular mail. AdMo-Tours
will processes the down payment only after you have received the
confirmation email. Final balance due has to be paid before rental
motorcycle pick-up and can be paid by check,
wire transfer or credit card.

If this is
not done AdMo-Tours has the right to treat this reservation as
canceled and you will loose your entire deposit. Payments can be
maid by check, bank transfer or credit card.

For oversee destinations we
recommend that you arrive a day prior to the motorcycle take-over to be safely
relaxed and over the jetlag.
Please consider that many shops and rental stations are closed on Sundays
(in Switzerland also on Mondays)
THE RENTAL BIKES
There is an enormous variety of motorcycles available for rent
worldwide. Unfortunately we can not list every rental station and
motorcycle model on this pages. Some of the most popular bikes between
the touring rider are the brand of BMW. Other very popular motorcycle brands
are the Honda bikes with a great variety of sport-touring bikes. For the
serious sporty traveler, Ducati or Aprilia might be available at some
locations. We make sure our partners supply the finest new model machines
in best mechanical condition!
SELECT YOUR RENTAL BIKE
Often a lighter bike is more comfortable than for example a full faring
and radio equipped BMW K1200LT. Select a bike that fit's to your size,

(unfortunately in German). Easy to get along to find information about
horsepower ratings (PS), seat height in millimeters
(25 mm = 1 inch) and weight in kg
(1 kg = 2.2 pounds).

RULES
- Bookings
received later than 1 week prior to departure may not be processed!
- The client must be over 21 years of
age (some locations require 25 years of age minimum) and in
possession of a valid motorbike license, issued at least a year
in advance, that qualifies the holder for the use of the chosen vehicle
in any country the bike is intended to be used in.
Some rental stations (specially Spain
and South America) require an international
driver license. This "translation" can easily be obtained at
your Automobile Club. Call AAA for detailed information, 800 222 4357 USA.
- At pick-up of the rental bike you are required to leave a credit
card damage deposit of usually approx $1000 with the rental station.-
You must wear proper riding gear and a helmet is required. No helmet
rental available at most dealers in Germany and Switzerland.
- Most rental locations especially within the USA require a 2 day
minimum rental! However, ALL RENTALS OF 7 DAYS OR
LESS ARE SUBJECT TO A US$ 35 BOOKING FEE (for Honda Goldwing rentals in the US less than 10 days).
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations
received within 48 hours after your booking was send to AdMo-Tours are
free off charges.
Cancellations received more than 31 days prior to departure will be
subjected to 10% of the rental price cancellation fee (min $ 100),
30 to 4 days 50% of the rental price,
3 to 1 days 75% 0f the rental price,
Last day and No-Shows 100% of the rental price.
A charge of $35 will be made for each requested change (model or rental
length) made after rental was confirmed and invoiced. Early drop-offs
can not be refunded. Exceptions to this policy can not be made for any
reason.
GEAR AND EQUIPMENT
We recommend to bring your own riding gear. The hiring of helmets etc. is often not available and not included in the
renting cost. BMW rental bikes are mostly equipped with saddle boxes and
wind shield. Ask us for the equipment supplied with your chosen bike
rental.
Luggage Storage
At most destinations you are allowed to store a small suitcase
or duffel bag during your rental. But keep in mind if you drop of the
bike to after business hours you have no access to your belongings!
