Day 1:Arrival at Munich Airport / Germany, Subway to the Hotel in a Downtown location. Stroll to the Glockenturm for a welcome dinner and introduction. Day 2: Munich - Salzburg (160 miles) Pick up your rental motorcycle and ride along the German Alpine Road to Berchtesgarden. Cross the border to Austria and into Salzburg, where we spend the next 2 nights. Day 3: Salzburg - Cortina (195 miles) Ride curvy roads across the picturesque high Alps with a lunch at the Edelweiss peak on Gross- gloeckner Pass. We will cross the border into Italy and spend the next two nights at Cortina, one of the most well-known Ski resort towns of Italy. Day 4: Cortina (optional riding day) Today's ride covers 10 of the best Alpine Passes in the Dolomites in only 125 miles! This is one windy day throughout some of the most awe-inspiring landscapes of Europe. Enjoy the evening in Cortina with plenty of shopping and entertainment options. Day 5: Cortina - Seefeld (220 miles) Ride back north across Penserjoch, Jaufenpass and Timelsjoch. An unforgettable ride! If you still have not had enough switchbacks and windy roads, take some detours out of the Oetztal. Seefeld is an other highlight, a beautiful town developed years ago for the Winter Olympics. Day 6: Seefeld (optional riding day) Seefeld is a town from which you can do some real sightseeing. If you like big old castles, hop on the bike and ride to Neuschwanstein, the castle of King Ludwing featured at Disney Land. Besides the famous castle, the riding along the well-maintained swipe roads is just a blast. Day 7: Seefeld - Liechtenstein (200 miles) Ride some of the most famous alpine passes featured in motorcycle magazines worldwide. Paso del Stelvio with its 48 hairpin turns (just on one side) will stay in your memory for the rest of your life! We have selected a Hotel overlooking the Rhine Valley in the middle of Liechtenstein. Day 8: Liechtenstein (optional riding day) Hiking to the local cheese factory is a good opportunity but don't worry, you can also take the bike. Your Tour Guide will be ready for an other windy ride trough the Swiss Apenzell and if you want he will take you per Gondola to the top of Mt. Santis. Day 9: Liechtenstein - Grindelwald (180 miles) Through the hard of the Alps. Klausen, Gotthard, Furka and Grimsel Pass are some of the best rides in the Alps! Visit the manmade ice cave in the Rhone Glacier or the narrow gorge of the Aareschlucht. Grindelwald is one of my favorite areas in front of the massive Eiger wall. Day 10: Grindelwald (optional riding day) Do you remember the movie "Eiger Sanction" with Clint Eastwood? This is where you are, take Europe's highest railroad through the wall of Eiger to the Jungfraujoch at 11000 feet elevation where you can walk on the glacier and go sledding in the middle of Summer. Day 11: Grindelwald - Lindau (185 miles) If you are still searching for the tightest and windiest roads, take Sustenpass to Pragelpass or Ibergeregg to Sattelegg than via Hulftegg across hilly countryside to Lake Constance. A ferry will take you to the medieval town of Meersburg before you get to the island of Lindau. Day 12: Lindau (optional riding day) Just rent a boat and enjoy the lake around the picturesque town. A good day of motorcycling, including some of Germany's Autobahn, gets you to the Black Forest and the Rhine Fall. Or go on a loop through the German Alps to visit the Held Leather factory and buy your favorite motorcycle leather gear at great discount prices! Day 13: Lindau - Munich (130 miles) It's a nice last ride to the end of a tour spiked with highlights. The German Alpine Road offers lots of opportunities to ride some additional sweepers. Want to test the top speed of your bike? Lets take the German Autobahn for a few miles before we drop the motorcycles off in southern Munich. Day 14: Departure Note: We reserve the right to make changes any time |
