Itinerary
|
Day 1: Arrival at Airport in Zagreb, where your guide will welcome you. After arrival at the hotel, you may take your tour bike for a test ride. In the evening, enjoy the traditional welcome dinner, where your guide will discuss routes, bikes, itinerary, etc.
Day 2: Zagreb - Island Krk. After breakfast, we ride toward the island Krk. We’ll be passing through beautiful and green Gorskikotar region. We arrive on island Krk in early afternoon, and and take a historic ride towards Baska, the most famous bay on the island. The sea there is so clear you won't be able to resist a swim. We will ride back to the city for two nights.
Day 3: Island Cres - Island Losinj exploring. A short ferry ride will first take us to Cres. On our way down to Losinj, we'll pass along the Nature Park Vransko Lake known for its pure and drinkable water. Opposite of the mountainous Cres, Losinj is like an oasis with its lushly green colors. Small friendly towns, symphony of colors, and tastes await you there.
Day 4: Krk - Island Rab. Today we travel to island Rab. You may wish to take the longer trip over the Velebit mountain, climbing all the way up to 1594 meters above sea, enjoying the fresh air while overlooking the islands; or just hop on one of the ferries and arrive in Rab in no time. Tonight we stay in Rab, known for its four characteristic bell-towers.
Day 5: Island Rab - Island Pag – Zadar - Island Murter. Today is one of the best days for riding on the route. Phenomenal asphalt, clear curves and great sea views. We'll end the evening on the Island Murter, a charming little island that is connected to the mainland by bridge.
Day 6: Rest day - National Park Kornati excursion. As this is a true Island Hopping tour, today's the day for a boat trip. We will cruise around Kornati Islands, one of Croatia's eight National Parks. Its archipelago consists of around 140 islands. At the end of the day, we may ride to Zadar, where the most beautiful sunsets in the world can be seen.
Day 7: Island Murter – Split- Island Vis. A morning coastal ride will take us south, and we'll visit some eye catching places like Skradin and Trogir; after which a ferry will take us to Island Vis. We'll be riding towards Komiza, a charming fishermen’s town on Vis island.
Day 8: Island Vis - rest day. Island Vis is one of Croatia’s untouched jewels, Since it is a rest day, you may spend the day easily circling the island – about 100 kilomters. Along the way there are many fantastic beaches and sights to see. Or you choose to spend the day just laying on the beach. Or you can visit the Blue cave on Island Bisevo, a coastal cave that fills with perfectly blue light every day around noon.
Day 9: Island Vis - Island Brac. After a ferry ride to Split, we go to island Brac. After taking a swim on one of the top beaches in Croatia, Zlatni Rat, we’ll climb the highest peak Vidova Gora and see how Zlatni Rat looks from above; after we’ll ride some more, crossing from one side to the other side of the island.
Day 10: Island Brac - Dubrovnik. Today we ride from Island Brac to Dubrovnik, in south Dalmatia region. Stone walls and streets, marble-paved squares and Dalmatin's charisma is something you won't want to miss.
Day 11: Rest day Dubrovnik. On your rest day, you might take a boat trip to one of the nearest islands, take a great ride to Montenegro with us, or just to let the sun go down a bit before exploring the center of Dubrovnik and its history.
Day 12: Dubrovnik - Island Peljesac - Island Korcula - Island Hvar. Starting from Dubrovnik, we'll ride across the islands Peljesac and Korcula, which are both worth exploring; their nature is really perfect and unspoiled. We'll be riding fantastic open roads through the middle of the islands, then riding to the shore to enjoy a swim in the perfectly blue Adriatic sea, and enjoy the great view towards mainland and Neretva river. We'll 'hop' from Island Korcula to Island Hvar today and will enjoy every mile of it.
Day 13: Island Hvar - Plitvice Lakes National Park. Hvar is Croatia's sunniest island. Relax on one of the sandy beaches, stroll around the beautiful old city Hvar, or enjoy one of numerous restaurants in the city center. We’ll catch a ferry in the early afternoon and start riding north. We are headed towards National Park Plitvice Lakes. As one of UNESCO's World Heritage sites, it is truly one of the greatest natural wonders of Europe.
Day 14: Plitvice Lakes National Park - Zagreb. We'll spend the morning exploring the National Park - walking around beautiful waterfalls and lakes all connected by foaming cascades, and relaxing in the silence of forests. Afterwards, a short ride takes us to our hotel. Our final night will be spent together looking back on our wonderful trip and sharing our impressions.
Day 15: Departure after breakfast. Airport transfers included.
