You prefer curvy mountain and costal roads? The summer season will be for you. We have split our classic Golden California Tour into two separate great tours, both starting at Santa Monica Beach.

Cruise through the Southwest. The Golden California winter season motorcycle tour will start with a ride along Sunset Boulevard through Hollywood and across the Angeles Forest into the Mojave Desert. Almost immediately we will escape the Los Angeles traffic to some of America’s most scenic and most famous motorcycle routes. Imagine cruising along the lonesome path of pioneers and gold miners across Death Valley. You will see spectacular landscapes like Artist Drive and Red Rock Canyon along the route to Las Vegas. Spend a day in the glitter of Vegas with an optional ride to the Valley of Fire or a flight across the Grand Canyon (additional fee). As one of the greatest highlights for any USA traveler, Route 66 will be waiting for us with one of the most demanding, desolate, and awesomely satisfying stretches of the original old road around Oatman. After one night at the Colorado River, you will visit Joshua Tree National Park and spend a night in the beautiful city of Palm Springs. We will then ride to San Diego, where a relaxed day will allow you to visit Coronado Island, get on some curvy backcountry roads or visit Balboa Park and San Diego’s Old Town, spend some time at the beach, or go for a short Mexico adventure across the border. Last but not least, enjoy a scenic route from San Diego back to Los Angeles with diversity between coastal roads and curvy mountain roads.

Great riding all year long. Although December and January temperatures throughout the Mojave Desert can be cold at night, the average day temperatures are 55F/13C with frequent peaks of 70F/21C and more. It is a great winter escape and a pleasant tour to bring your partner or teenage kid on the passenger seat. Our support vehicle will have a limited availability for non-riders and will transport your luggage between the hotel accommodations.
