Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrival in Charlotte

Guests arrive at the designated hotel before 5pm. We will meet for introductions and you will receive information about the motorcycles and the week's itinerary. A welcome dinner follows.

Day 2:
Charlotte - High Country
(225 miles / 362 km)
Experience the great twisty mountain roads of North Carolina as we depart Charlotte en route to Banner Elk and the High Country. You'll get a chance to ride the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway and enjoy one of the best motorcycle roads in the country. Our destination for the evening is a villa nestled in the heart of the High Country with gorgeous views of the Smoky Mountains from every room.

Day 3:
High Country
(175 miles / 282 km)
After a gourmet breakfast at the villa, it's time to tackle Snake Valley - three mountains, one valley, and 489 curves! We'll also ride through the world's shortest tunnel, also known as Backbone Rock. Lunch gives everyone a chance to taste some of the most renowned BBQ in the Southeast. At the end of the day, we'll head back to the villa for wine tasting and relaxation.

Day 4:
High Country - Asheville
(200 miles / 322 km)
Another great breakfast at the villa sends us on our way to Asheville - a must-see destination in North Carolina! A great day of riding awaits on our way to the Blue Ride Mountains, with 200 miles of twisty mountain roads. Accommodations in Asheville are at the award-winning inn in the heart of a National Historic District.

Day 5:
Asheville

Start the day with a relaxing breakfast and pick from various loop rides of 90 - 200 miles (145 - 322 km), or simply relax and enjoy all Asheville has to offer. A visit to the spectacular Biltmore Estate is a popular option for this day. At the end of the day we'll return to the inn for wine and cheese, dinner, and a second night's stay. For dinner, a must-try is a restaurant specializing in Bluegrass music and BBQ!

Day 6:
Asheville - Robbinsville (150 miles / 240 km)
Miles and miles of twisties await us again today as we head to Robbinsville, NC. A lunchtime treat is also in store as we visit the Wheels Through Time Museum, which houses over 250 rare American antique motorcycles and automobiles. We'll leave Maggie Valley and the museum after lunch and head to Deal's Gap, where the world-famous 'Tail of the Dragon' awaits those who dare - 318 turns in 11 miles (18 km)!

Day 7:
Asheville - Charlotte
All good things must end! A bountiful breakast at the lodge sends us on our way back to Charlotte. Wayah Bald road leading to the Chatooga River provides yet another great road on your final day. Lunch in historic Highlands, NC with scenic waterfalls dotting the route. We'll return to the hotel in Charlotte and prepare for departure the next day.
